Cutthroat Trout

April 15th - September 30th

Southeast Alaska is home to Coastal Cutthroat Trout. Prince of Wales Island has both sea-run and resident trout in abundance. Cutthroat trout can be targeted in the island’s rivers year round. Streamer and dry fly fishing for Cutthroat is excellent from May to July. Bead fishing for Cutthroat is also very good in August and September.
